| CorePharma Selects rfXcel for California ePedigree Compliance |
rfXcel Corporation, a leading provider of ePedigree Management solutions that allow manufacturers, distributors, and retailers to track the chain of custody of prescription drugs through the pharmaceutical supply chain, today announced that CorePharma has selected rfXcel's ePedigree Management solution to protect its supply chain from the threat of counterfeit drugs.
Based in Middlesex, NJ, CorePharma is a generic pharmaceutical manufacturer of prescription and over-the-counter products. CorePharma was established in 1998 and has US FDA registered facilities, in compliance with cGMP, EPA, and local government regulations.
In preparation for compliance with California's pending 2009 ePedigree requirements, CorePharma selected rfXcel's ePedigree Management solution, after evaluating the leading ePedigree software providers. rfXcel was selected for its certified conformance to the EPCglobal Drug Pedigree Standard, and its successful track record in getting its existing customers into production, generating Pedigrees for all 50 states. rfXcel's rich set of features, and the ease with which it is to implement, integrate and use, put it's solution over the top. Seamlessly integrating to CorePharma's back-end systems will result in a fully automated system with minimal disruption to its current business processes.
