National Repackager of Pharmaceutical Products Chooses rfXcel’s E-Pedigree Management Solution

San Ramon, CA, October 27, 2009 – rfXcel Corporation, the leading provider of production-proven ePedigree and Track and Trace Systems, today announced that Pharmedix, a division of RPK Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has selected its Active ePedigree Management solution to further automate its sophisticated repackaging operations.

Based in Union City, California, with East Coast offices in Orlando, Florida, Pharmedix is a national repackager of pharmaceutical products for the dispensing practitioner. Established in 1984, the Company is licensed as a drug manufacturer with the State of California and registered as a drug manufacturer/repackager with both the Food and Drug Administration and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Pharmedix selected rfXcel’s Active ePedigree Management solution after an extensive evaluation, which included a full on-site demonstration in which rfXcel’s system generated pedigrees in real-time from sample data supplied by Pharmedix.  rfXcel’s system demonstrated a robust set of features for pedigree generation to support Pharmedix’ high-volume repackaging operations.  Another key factor in Pharmedix’ decision was rfXcel’s ability to provide local support with on-site meetings as needed for system implementation and training.
