Active Intervention Architecture™
Technology
The rfXcel Active Intervention Architecture™ (AIA) is an advanced architectural platform that supports rich and dynamic workflow and notification capabilities. These capabilities enable the intelligent monitoring of business processes and preemptively alerts the appropriate business manager to take corrective action before issues become problems.
The AIA is built using a Service-Oriented Architecture approach and supports a rich and intuitive web application interface specific to the business application. AIA supports the dynamic enterprise performance optimization activities necessary to enhance visibility, closely integrate complex workflow, and monitor for events as well as non-events.
Built using J2EE, the architecture is platform neutral with an n-tier scalable open architecture. The client can be a thin Web browser, mobile device, web-enabled phone or external appliance that uses standard Internet technologies such as HTTP, HTTPS, HTML, and XML to integrate with the rfXcel application. rfXcel supports any JDBC compliant database (Oracle, IBM DB2, and MSSQL), and the most widespread application servers such as IBM WebSphere and BEA WebLogic. The architecture is implemented with 100% pure Java with EJB, XML, and SOAP APIs.
The rfXcel AIA architecture is widely flexible and adaptable and can be deployed either in a hosted model or an enterprise software model.
